The answer is individually, by taking responsibility for our own actions, and also collectively, by harnessing the power of workplaces, community groups and others to make changes.
Many Victorian organisations are already working hard to create a culture of respect. We want to build on this good work and encourage others to follow by developing an endorsement program to:
- Outline exactly how to achieve best-practice in running primary prevention programs
- Provide resources to help organisations do this
- Provide a formal endorsement to recognise that achievement.
In other words, we will provide the road map for running respectful programs in workplaces, schools, community groups or other organisations.
