Karinda Taylor
Board Director

Karinda Taylor is a Wamba Wamba woman and Chief Executive Officer at First Peoples’ Health and Wellbeing — a trauma informed, culturally safe Aboriginal health service — made up of comprehensive primary care, mental health and trauma counselling teams. 

Karinda brings a wealth of experience in various clinical, strategic leadership and management roles across Aboriginal community controlled health organisations, state government and regional and metropolitan hospitals. 

As a registered nurse and midwife, Karinda has over 15 years' experience in healthcare and has a strong commitment to Aboriginal health, considering a connection to culture, kin and a sense of belonging as vital to one’s overall health and wellbeing.
