Recruitment process

Transparency during the recruitment process is important to us. The standard process for candidates is:

  1. Submit an application.
    • Unsuccessful candidates are advised.
  2. Receive an interview invitation and attend the interview.
    • Unsuccessful candidates are advised.
  3. Provide your references and complete a police check.
  4. Discuss salary and commencement date with your hiring manager.
  5. Receive a verbal offer of your position.
  6. Receive a written offer of your position.
  7. Submit your onboarding documents.
  8. Commence employment!

Senior Advisor, Prevention, Policy and Influence

Are you:

  • Passionate about driving public policy and systemic reform to prevent gender-based violence?
  • A strategic and systems level thinker?
  • Able to adapt and work collaboratively with others to foster continuous learning and achieve results?

The Senior Advisor, Prevention Policy and Influence will be responsible for developing and delivering evidence-based policy positions and projects to drive thought leadership in the prevention of violence against women and/or family violence. 

As a key member of the Prevention Policy and Influence Team, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including engaging with government and the family violence prevention sector.
