Opening Statement
The Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH) provided financial services to Respect Victoria from 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025.
A financial summary of expenditure for 2024-25 is provided below with 2023-24 provided for comparison.

| Three-Year Report to Parliament on progress in prevention | Under the Prevention of Family Violence Act 2018, Respect Victoria is required to report to the Victorian Parliament every three years on trends, progress and outcomes in Victoria's collective efforts to prevent family violence and violence against women. | The next report, to be tabled in late 2025, will cover activity between January 2022 and December 2024. To develop the report, Respect Victoria undertook a wide-ranging review and consultation process, which included: key informant interviews; consultations; a practitioner survey; high-level review of published and unpublished reports and evaluations; and analysis of data measures incorporated in the Prevention of Family Violence Data Platform and other sources. | Final report to be tabled in Parliament, launched and published.
