"Stealthing” refers to the non-consensual removal of a condom during sex. It can also refer to purposefully damaging a condom before or during sex.
Stealthing is sexual assault. Stealthing is a crime in Victoria. This means that non-consensually taking off a condom during sex is considered rape.
Stealthing is not safe. Taking off or damaging a condom during sex increases the risk of transmissions of sexually transmitted infections and unplanned pregnancies.
Sex should be about mutual pleasure, enthusiastic consent and respect.
